Reservations

Do you accept reservations?

Unfortunately, we do not accept standard reservations. With our open seating layout, we cannot properly support it. Groups of 8 or more can usually find seating on the Green Lawn, Marfa, and the BOHO Courtyard. If you need rental space for a larger party or event, please inquire here.

• For groups of 20 or more (without a rental), a 20% gratuity charge is automatically added. 

• No decorating or "taking over" any space without a paid rental. No exceptions.

Do you have table service?

No. We do not offer table service. We offer open seating and counter service. Place your order up front, enter your cell number, pick your table, and relax! If we're busy, visit the bar or Coffee Shoppe, enjoy our free wifi, and/or play one of our outdoor games while you wait. Rest assured, your food will be hot and tasty when we send a text to your phone, letting you know your food is ready!

 

Is the FireHouse Gastro Park good for large groups?

We are great for large groups! However, we ask that you call ahead and confirm we can support (if your group does not have a paid rental). With regards to our kitchen operations, we are like any other restaurant. Unannounced groups of 20 or more will wait longer than usual if we are busy. About Us

What is the FireHouse Gastro Park?

We're a hybrid venue featuring a coffee shoppe, restaurant, bar, outdoor live music venue, and rental space. Our home is yours. We welcome visitors from 7am to closing.

Where are you located exactly?

Right off of Main Street in Downtown Grand Prairie, right across the street from Sonic. Look for the large "FHGP" neon letters.

Where do we park?

There are three parking spaces right in front, off of Main Street. There is ample parking behind the FireHouse. Enter through the light blue gates. Look for the large blue sails and shipping containers.

Are you a scratch kitchen?

Yes! From our homemade sauces to Chef Z's Dirty Bird Fries, 95% of our food is made from scratch. With that in mind, please exercise a little patience when we are noticaly busy. We are not fast food. Our quality of food is second to none.

Do you take phone orders?

We no longer accept phone orders. We encourage our guest to order online. During peak hours, we do not take online orders in order to properly support our inhouse guests. Our apologies, but during our busy times we cannot support additional online orders.

Can we move tables, chairs, and umbrellas around?

We ask you ask an employee first. We'll be happy to assist, if we can. Furniture may be reserved or set up for other use. 

Are you pet friendly?

We do not allow pets on our green lawn and inside the restaurant. Only Qualified Service Animals are allowed throughout the premises without restrictions.

Are you kid friendly?

Of course! FHGP is for every member of the family. We do ask that all children remain with their parents at all times. No running, climbing, or throwing rocks or sticks. 

When do you have live music?

We feature singer/songwriters every Friday night. We offer karaoke and open mic every Thursday. We also present ticketed concert shows throughout the year.

Where are your restrooms?

There is a restroom (w/changing table) inside the Coffee Shoppe. There are four large additional, climate controlled restrooms outside in the blue shipping container, behind the bar.

Can we bring in our own folding chairs for concerts and shows?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your lawn chairs when enjoying our live music.

Do you accept submissions for artists/bands?

Feel free to contact us here. Be sure to add all relevant web pages, social media accounts, etc.

Our you hiring?

We are always looking for new talent to join the family. Feel free to submit your resume here. We actively hire cooks ($15/hr), bartenders (in house & wedding events), and Food Runners (best suited for high school and college students). Click here to apply.

Rental Questions

Where can I find more information about rentals?

Yes! Please visit FHGP.SPACE for full details, photos, and availability.
You can also reach out directly—we’re happy to walk you through options and build something custom.

 

How does booking and payment work?

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.

Payment of the deposit serves as acceptance of your event agreement and policies.

The remaining balance is due two (2) weeks prior to your event.

Because we begin planning, staffing, and sourcing immediately, all payments are non-refundable.

 

What happens if weather impacts our event?

We understand that weather can be unpredictable. While we cannot offer refunds, we’re always happy to work with you on a reschedule based on availability.

(This policy exists because food, staffing, and operational costs are committed in advance.)

 

Do you allow outside food or alcohol?

No outside food or alcohol is permitted.
We are a full-service venue and take pride in providing both elevated food and Mama’s Medicine craft cocktail experiences.

Exception: You’re welcome to bring a dessert (cake, etc.), and we’ll happily store it for you.

 

Can we decorate the space?

Absolutely—we love when guests make the space their own.

A few guidelines:

  • No items that damage walls, floors, or fixtures

  • No confetti, glitter, or loose décor

  • All décor plans should be approved in advance

We’re happy to collaborate with you to make it look incredible.

 

Can we bring in rented furniture or décor?

Yes, with prior approval.
Please coordinate delivery, setup, and pickup timing with our team in advance.

 

Can we bring in a band or DJ?

It depends on the day, time, and scope of your event.
We offer an in-house sound system and support, but we’re flexible—let’s talk through what you’re envisioning.

 

What is included in the rental?

Every event is a little different, but rentals can include:

  • Access to our indoor + outdoor spaces

  • Tables, seating, and layout flexibility

  • Full-service food and bar options

  • Event support from our team

We’ll tailor everything to your vision.

 

Are there any additional fees?

Yes, depending on your event:

  • Cleaning fee (non-refundable)

  • Gratuity on food & beverage

  • Additional staffing or specialty rentals (if needed)

Everything is clearly outlined in your proposal—no surprises.

 

What makes Firehouse Gastro Park different?

We’re not just a venue—we’re an experience.

Between our 20,000+ square feet, indoor/outdoor flexibility, and the Mama’s Medicine cocktail program, we offer a one-stop, highly curated environment that feels both elevated and effortless.

Rentals & Vendors

  • Outside rentals (tables, chairs, décor, etc.) must be approved in advance

  • Delivery and pickup must be coordinated with FHGP

  • All vendors must comply with FHGP policies

For any outside vendors (including but not limited to bounce houses, yard games, entertainment, or specialty rentals):

  • Vendor must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing Firehouse Gastro Park as additionally insured
    OR

  • Client must utilize FHGP’s approved insured event vendor/support partner

FHGP reserves the right to deny any vendor that does not meet these requirements.
